Palaeospheniscus huxleyorum
Taxonomy
Palaeospheniscus huxleyorum was named by Simpson (1973). Its type specimen is Q1882, a set of postcrania (humerus), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ysterplaats, which is in a Zanclean marine sandstone in South Africa.
