Wimanornis seymourensis
Taxonomy
Wimanornis seymourensis was named by Simpson (1971). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BM(NH) A/3367, a set of postcrania (humerus). Its type locality is La Meseta Fm Telm 7, which is in a Priabonian estuary/bay sandstone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Wimanornis.
