Taxonomy
Asiohomacodon was named by Tsubamoto et al. (2003) [Mammalia, Artiodactyla, Dichobunidae,Homacodontinae]. Its type is Asiohomacodon myanmarensis. It was considered paraphyletic by Tsubamoto et al. (2003).
It was assigned to Dichobunidae by Tsubamoto et al. (2003); and to Homacodontidae by Theodor et al. (2007).
