Taxonomy
Pleurotoma reticulata was named by Brown (1827) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Northern Atlantic.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Lora reticulata by Grant, IV and Gale (1931), Willett (1937); it was recombined as Propebela reticulata by Simonarson et al. (1998); it was recombined as Curtitoma reticulata by Hendy et al. (2008).
