Sinocricetus progressus
Taxonomy
Sinocricetus progressus was named by Qiu and Storch (2000). Its type specimen is IVVP V11914, a maxilla (dext. with M1-3), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bilike, which is in a Pliocene lacustrine horizon in China.
