Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
A. Prieto-Marquez 2010Hadrosaurid dinosaur of the genus Gryposaurus characterized by the following autapomorphies: predentary and premaxillary oral margins with pronged denticles; and surangular with distinct dorsal process on its medial ridge. It differs from Gryposaurus notabilis in possessing an anteroposteriorly narrower infratemporal fenestra (approximately half the orbital width), with subparallel anterior and posterior margins, and a dorsoventrally more elongated mandibular foramen (diagnosis modified from Gates and Sampson, 2007).
