Taxonomy
Dromaeopodus shandongensis was named by Li et al. (2007). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is CU 214.111, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Houzuoshan Dinosaur Park, which is in a Barremian/Albian lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Tianjialou Formation of China.
