Cursoricoccyx geraldinae
Taxonomy
Cursoricoccyx geraldinae was named by Martin and Mengel (1984). Its type specimen is KUVP No. 25629, a limb element (proximal end of a right tarsometatarsus), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Martin Canyon Quarry A, which is in a Hemingfordian channel horizon in the Pawnee Creek Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Cursoricoccyx.
