Tritonidea (Cantharus) speciosa was named by Vredenburg (1923) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; Myanmar.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Tittabwe (Kama stage), which is in an Aquitanian marine horizon in the Kama Formation of Myanmar.
