Propinnotheroides orangeburgensis
Taxonomy
Propinnotheroides orangeburgensis was named by Bishop and Palmer (2006). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Orangeburg, bryozoan bioherm, which is in a Lutetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Santee Limestone Formation of South Carolina. It is the type species of Propinnotheroides.
