Palaeohypsodontus asiaticus
Taxonomy
Palaeohypsodontus asiaticus was named by Trofimov (1958). Its type specimen is PIN 473-110, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tatal Gol, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Palaeohypsodontus.
