Hipparion laromae
Taxonomy
Hipparion laromae was named by Pesquero et al. (2006). Its type specimen is RO-1269, a set of postcrania (1Phalanx III), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is La Roma 2, which is in a MN 10 terrestrial claystone in the Alfambra Formation of Spain.
