Cubanycteris silvai
Taxonomy
Cubanycteris silvai was named by Mancina and García-Rivera (2005). Its type specimen is No. IES 1.5540, a partial skeleton (partial skull plus articulated mandible and complete humerus), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cueva GEDA, which is in a Pleistocene cave limestone in Cuba. It is the type species of Cubanycteris.
