Baluchimys barryi
Taxonomy
Baluchimys barryi was named by Flynn et al. (1986). Its type specimen is GSP 21281, a tooth (M2,3 sup. sin.), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Y-GSP 417, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Chitarwata Formation of Pakistan. It is the type species of Baluchimys.
