Ilerdoryctes sigei
Taxonomy
Ilerdoryctes sigei was named by Marandat (1989). Its type specimen is FNR 06, a tooth (right m1 or m2), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Fordones, which is in an Eocene fluvial siliciclastic in the Calcaire de Ventenac Formation of France. It is the type species of Ilerdoryctes.
