Artemis vidali was named by Philippi (1887) [DISTRIBUTION: Early-Middle Miocene; Chile.]. It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Miltha (Matanziella).
It was recombined as Miltha (Matanziella) vidali by Frassinetti and Covacevich (1993).
