Afrodon ivani
Taxonomy
Afrodon ivani was named by López-Martínez and Peláez-Campomanes (1999) [authorship restricted to Peláez-Campomanes]. Its type specimen is DPUCM TEN-1, a tooth (M2 sup. dext.), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Tendruy, which is in a Thanetian terrestrial horizon in Spain.
