Yanornis martini
Taxonomy
Yanornis martini was named by Zhou and Zhang (2001). Its type specimen is IVPP V12558, a skeleton (complete individual without feather impressions), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Chaoyang City Yanornis type locality, which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
