Paraplatyschisma rotunda

Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria rotunda was named by Etheridge (1872). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cracow Creek, which is in an Artinskian coastal siliciclastic in the Buffel Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Platyschisma rotunda by Jack and Etheridge (1892); it was recombined as Cycloscena rotunda by Waterhouse (1963); it was recombined as Paraplatyschisma rotunda by Waterhouse (1987).
