Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
P. Peláez-Campomanes 2000A Treposciurus species with small cheek teeth. The enamel in the synclines and in the synclinids is crenulated, which gives the teeth a reticulated aspect. The upper cheek teeth have the buccal end of the sinus directed forwards. The sinus is formed by the connection between the anterior arm of the hypocone and the protoloph. The lower teeth have the longitudinal crest connected to the hypolophid. The lower molars usually have a well-developed anteroconid.
