Libognathus sheddi
Taxonomy
Libognathus sheddi was named by Small (1997). Its type specimen is DMNH 20491, a mandible (fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Double U Ranch, SE of Post, which is in a Norian terrestrial horizon in the Cooper Canyon Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Libognathus.
