Scoloparia glyphanodon
Taxonomy
Scoloparia glyphanodon was named by Sues and Baird (1998). Its type specimen is NSM 996GF83.1, a partial skull (incl. nuchal "shield" of osteoderms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boot Island shore, which is in a Carnian fluvial sandstone in the Wolfville Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Scoloparia.
