Taxonomy
Minisauripus zhenshuonani was named by Lockley et al. (2008). Its type specimen is CU 214.103-104, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Houzuoshan Dinosaur Park, which is in a Barremian/Albian lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Tianjialou Formation of China.

L. Xing et al. 2016Small, elongate, tridactyl track with parallel digits with conspicuous claw traces. Track narrower than in M. chuanzhuensis with digits less divergent, and digit II relatively shorter. Pace and stride about 10 times footprint length and typically longer than in M. chuanzhuensis. Trackway very narrow.
