Scala (Acrilla) retifera was named by Dall (1889) [DISTRIBUTION: Recent; Caribbean.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Amaea retifera by Ardovini and Cossignani (2004); it was recombined as Scalina retifera by DeVries (2007).
