Echinalosia denisoni
Taxonomy
Echinalosia denisoni was named by Archbold (1987). Its type specimen is GSQ F12465, a valve (Dorsal valve, external mould), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Eddystone 1 well, interval C, 786.5-786.6 m depth, which is in a Wordian transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in Australia.
