Orthotetes afanasjevae
Taxonomy
Orthotetes afanasjevae was named by Manankov (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4904/30, a valve (Ventral valve, mold and imprint), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Adatsag Somon, slope of mountain 6 km south, Bed 2, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Adatsag Formation of Mongolia.
