Taxonomy
Jakutoproductus ganelini was named by Manankov (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4904/1, a shell (Articulated specimen), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Adatsag Somon, slope of mountain 6 km south, Bed 2, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Adatsag Formation of Mongolia.
