Taxonomy
Auliscocyathus arcuatus was named by Gravestock (1984). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mount Scott Range, Tor Herm (section N), archaeocyath-sponge mound, which is in an Atdabanian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Ajax Limestone Formation of Australia.
