Taxonomy
Dokidocyathus triangulus was named by Gravestock (1984). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mount Scott Range, Channel Herm (section K) buildup, which is in an Atdabanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Ajax Limestone Formation of Australia.
