Gruntea grunti
Taxonomy
Posicomta grunti was named by Shi and Shen (1997). Its type specimen is NMV P145689, a shell (Articulated specimen), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Selong Xishan, middle beds, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine grainstone in China. It is the type species of Gruntea.
It was recombined as Gruntea grunti by Shi et al. (1999).
