Anaptychius minutus
Taxonomy
Anaptychius minutus was named by Hoover (1981). Its type specimen is USNM 221552, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 6, Block C, mule trail between El Portachuelo and Mucuchachi, which is in a Kungurian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Palmarito Formation of Venezuela. It is the type species of Anaptychius.
