Tarimathyris hotanensis
Taxonomy
Tarimathyris hotanensis was named by Chen and Shi (2006). Its type specimen is Tohoku Univ IGPS109043 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Qipan River section, Bed 3, AET 853, Qipan Formation, Tarim Basin, which is in a Kungurian marine sandstone in the Qipan Formation of China.
