Mingenewia anomala
Taxonomy
Mingenewia anomala was named by Archbold (1980). Its type specimen is CPC 19145, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is BMR PB15, Fossil Hill, Eregulla Springs Station, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone/siltstone in the Mingenew Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Mingenewia.
