Astartella ambiensis
Taxonomy
Astarte ambiensis was named by Waagen (1881). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Amb, very highest beds of Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Changhsingian coastal sandstone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Astartella ambiensis by Nakazawa and Newell (1968) and Zhang (1977).
