Taxonomy
Hustedia sicuaniensis was named by Chronic (1949). Its type specimen is AMNH 26966 2:1, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH246, Belén Pucará, Sicuani, which is in an Asselian marine horizon in Peru.
