Liosotella popei

Strophomenata - Productida - Paucispiniferidae

Taxonomy
Productus popei was named by Shumard (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White limestone of the Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Capitanian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Capitan Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Marginifera popei by McKee (1938), Cloud (1944); it was recombined as Liosotella popei by Cooper and Grant (1975).
