Planotectus cymbellatus
Taxonomy
Planotectus cymbellatus was named by Yochelson (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 119121 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM728, Guadalupe Pass, Guadalupe Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Cherry Canyon Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Planotectus.
