Omphalotrochus hessensis
Taxonomy
Omphalotrochus hessensis was named by Yochelson (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 119133 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM702f, Hill 5767, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian offshore shelf limestone in the Hess Formation of Texas.
