Elivina tibetana
Taxonomy
Spirifer tibetanus was named by Diener (1897). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Chitichun No. 1 Block (1892 collection), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in China.
It was recombined as Spiriferella tibetana by Waterhouse (1966), Zhang and Jin (1976), Licharew and Kotlyar (1978); it was recombined as Elivina tibetana by Fantini Sestini (1965), Kalashnikov (1981), Li et al. (1986), Kalashnikov (1998), Shen et al. (2003), Waterhouse (2004), Tazawa (2008).
It was recombined as Spiriferella tibetana by Waterhouse (1966), Zhang and Jin (1976), Licharew and Kotlyar (1978); it was recombined as Elivina tibetana by Fantini Sestini (1965), Kalashnikov (1981), Li et al. (1986), Kalashnikov (1998), Shen et al. (2003), Waterhouse (2004), Tazawa (2008).
