Anisopyge hyperbola
Taxonomy
Anisopyge hyperbola was named by Chamberlain (1972). Its type specimen is USNM 172971, a pygidium, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM9258, Sierra Los Cuchumatanes (FS-67-G-7), which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in the Chochal Formation of Guatemala.
