Thinochelys lapisossea

Taxonomy
Thinochelys lapisossea was named by Zangerl (1953). Its type specimen is CNHM P27453, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harrell Station, which is in a Santonian/Campanian carbonate limestone in Alabama. It is the type species of Thinochelys.
