Rhothonemys brinkmani
Taxonomy
Rhothonemys brinkmani was named by Gaffney et al. (2006). Its type specimen is AMNH 30521, a partial skull (partial skull, lacking palate and basicranium, and lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ouled Abdoun Basin Recette 4, which is in a Danian marine phosphorite in the Couche 2 Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Rhothonemys.
