Taquetochelys decorata
Taxonomy
Taquetochelys decorata was named by de Broin (1980). Its type specimen is MNHN-GDF 847, a partial shell (a series of shell fragments), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gadoufaoua (general), which is in an Aptian terrestrial sandstone in the Elrhaz Formation of Niger.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Sereno and ElShafie (2013).
