Diagnosis
| Reference | Diagnosis | |
|---|---|---|
| M. D. Biryukov 1974 (Teleolophus beliajevi) | Robust species within the genus Teleolophus. Upper premolars P2-P4 with a closed depression. Metaloph and protoloph are connected lingual and form together one cusp, the metacone. Metaloph of upper P2-P4 is perpendicularly orientated to the ectoloph. On the molars the paracone is high, much higher than the other cusps. Protoloph and metaloph lay in an angle of 5-10° to the ectoloph and slightly turn to the back side of the tooth. Cingulum (russian: "Vorotnichok"=collar) of the premolars and molars is well developed, especially on the lingual sides of the crowns. |
