Rotodactylopus archaeus
Taxonomy
Rotodactylopus archaeus was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Aliwal North bridge tracksite, Rouxville, which is in a Triassic terrestrial sandstone in South Africa. It is the type species of Rotodactylopus.
