Taxonomy
Trisauropodiscus superavipes was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mokkanametsong tracksite (zone B/2), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
