Dalingheornis liweii
Taxonomy
Dalingheornis liweii was named by Zhang et al. (2006). Its type specimen is CNU VB2005001, a skeleton (skeleton including feather impressions), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Dawangzhangzi, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Dalingheornis.
