Eoptolamna eccentrolopha
Taxonomy
Eoptolamna eccentrolopha was named by Kriwet et al. (2008). Its type specimen is MPZ 2005-4, a set of teeth, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Vallipón, Castellote, which is in a Barremian estuary/bay sandstone/conglomerate in the Artoles Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Eoptolamna.
