Niobrarateuthis bonneri
Taxonomy
Niobrarateuthis bonneri was named by Miller (1957). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Logan County [Smoky Hill Chalk Mbr, Niobrara Fm], which is in a Coniacian/Santonian marine lime mudstone in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas. It is the type species of Niobrarateuthis.
