Tarimathyris ovaloides
Taxonomy
Spirigerella ovaloides was named by Xu and Grant (1994). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Banzhuyuan Section, Nantong County, which is in a Changhsingian marine limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
It was recombined as Araxathyris ovaloides by Shen et al. (2004); it was recombined as Tarimathyris ovaloides by Chen and Shi (2006).
